Watercolor of a Victorian Home

This is a 17 1/2” by 24” watercolor of a “painted lady”. Back in Victorian times, “painted lady” was the term used to refer to a home that was painted in vibrant colors to show off the ornate detail in the woodwork. Back in the day, these people had money to burn and they wanted to make sure others noticed it. This work was done by Ava Freeman and boasts beautiful use of color. The frame was painted by us for decorating and display purposes. #5155
